In 2017 me and my wife bought a house in Wetherby, it was built in 1892 and had some history behind it that I was eager to find out.
Looking on the internet showed me a lack of any information about Wetherby in general, It was basically Wiki and a bit about the blue plaques on the Wetherby Civic Society website.
With lots of help by David Norminton we built the start of the site you see today, I went to the AGM and met the Chair Roger and showed him what I wanted to do, after a few meetings and with help from my contact at the Society Nic Sheppard. we had a site up and running .
